Role : Team Lead SAP Time Management implementation

Responsibilities included:

  • Gathering business requirements and configuring SAP Time Management solution

  • Writing custom personnel calculation rules to support client specific payroll requirements

  • Implementing a process for a mid-year mass change of work schedules for entire workforce.

  • Integration testing the complete end-to-end SAP Time and Payroll processes including all downstream processes like posting to finance and check printing as well as all inbound and outbound interfaces.

Role : IBM SAP Payroll and Time Lead

Responsibilities included:

  • Gathering business requirements for building SAP Time Management solution for the client’s employee populations in China, Japan, Singapore and Taiwan.

  • Writing custom personnel calculation rules in SAP Time Management to cater to the complex country specific overtime rules.

  • Strictly adhering to the different phases of the project management plan since these country specific SAP Time solutions were being implemented simultaneously with each project being at a different phase at a given point in time.

Role : Team member of IBM SAP Payroll implementation team

Responsibilities included:

  • Participating in the preparation of documents and other material for the RFP for the project which IBM ultimately won.

  • Participating in the high-level solution design that was complex due to size of workforce and more than 80 interfaces that had to be built.

  • Setting up and testing integrations between Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll

  • Setting up and testing employee data replication between Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll.

  • Setting up process workflows for our business partners using IBM’s proprietary Blueworks solution.                         

  • Reporting in Employee Central (Ad Hoc Reports and Online Report Designer)

Role : Led team of payroll functional analysts (from the US/CA, Mexico, EMEA and Asia)

Responsibilities included:

  • Gathering business requirements using a global template for implementing a payroll solution for employees located in North America, LATAM, ASPAC, EMEA.

  • Configuring, testing and rolling out a complete SAP Payroll solution for employees in the US and in Canada.

  • Documenting requirements and building the required interfaces from the global SAP HR master data tables to third party non SAP payroll vendors.
